GETin Student Internship Programme

Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. Of India, together with Indo U.S. Science and Technology Forum, IUSSTF has invited packages for the Student Internship Programme program to work in the greatest U.S. Universities in massive regions of Genome Engineering/Editing Technology (GETin). The Program has been initiated, acknowledging the importance of strategies and techniques in genome modification as a current-day crucial device for research and development.

Applicants need to be Indian citizens currently pursuing a Ph.D. On a complete-time basis in various vanguard disciplines of Biotechnology (Agriculture, Health Sciences, Bio-engineering, Biomedical, Fundamental Biology, or Allied Sciences) at a public-funded RandD lab/ Sandt Institute /diagnosed educational institute / University / College in India. It is mandatory that the subject of the applicant’s studies work has to have an interface with Genome Engineering/Editing Technology. The internship will include work at U.S. Universities for up to six months. An applicant ought to now not be over 32 years of age as of 31.12.2019. Up to five Interns could be presented every yr.
